Folsom ’68
A Tribute to Johnny Cash

Artist JC Cole authentically recreates Johnny Cash's music from 1954-1972 with a particular focus on the Man In Black's Raw Prison Concerts in 1968 & 1969.

A true singer, songwriter and guitar player in his own right, JC was born to Honor and Tribute Johnny Cash’s Musical Legacy and has been professionally tributing The Man in Black for years -- captivating audiences of all ages one piece at a time…

JC was blessed with a spirit and passion for music from birth.  He is essentially a self-taught musician that  learned to read and write music at an early age and taught himself to play guitar, bass and piano by listening to his musical heroes Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and, of course, Johnny Cash, among others.

JC had his first taste of being a professional musician when he was just a teenager.

JC has been honored to befriend members of Johnny Cash’s inner circle of family, friends and surviving bandmembers. It is JC’s calling and mission in life to continue the powerful legacy of Johnny Cash’s music by faithfully and respectfully bringing this unique style of American music to audiences everywhere and keep the light lit for the Man in Black!
